Explore the Beautiful Glance of Seven Sisters Falls| Meghalaya, India

Northeast India states not only has seven sisters states but also seven sisters falls.

The Nohsngithiang Falls also known as Mawsmai Falls or Seven sisters falls which is located in the Mawsmai village in East Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya,India.

The beautiful seven water falls plunges over the top of limestone cliffs of the Khasi Hills only during monsoon seasons. The falls is segmented into seven falls of height 315 metres (1,033ft) and has an average width of 70 metres (230ft) making it one of the tallest waterfalls in India.

The water falls get illuminated by the sun and the vibrant colors of the setting sun on the waterfalls makes its very beautiful to see. Best time to visit this place is in the month of June and September. You can visit this place anytime during the day,and the site is open on all the days.

Not just this waterfall, there are many other spots in this region you would love to explore like Mawsmai Caves, living root bridges, Nohkalikai Falls, and Cherrapunjee are some of the places that you should not miss visiting when you are there.
